Experience the finest backcountry powder skiing British Columbia  has to offer.

An abundance of dry powder snow combined with exceptional terrain are attributes you look for when choosing a location for your hard-earned backcountry vacation. Your search is over. The Dezaiko Range, located on the snowy western slopes of The Rocky mountains, has the snow and terrain you desire. Our mid winter snowpack exceeds 3 metres and our northern latitude ensures that snow falls dry and light. Our terrain offers something for every skier. From open alpine bowls and long alpine runs to steep chutes it’s all there. Not to mention, without a question, the best tree skiing on the planet.

Our lodge is exceptionally comfy, casual and breathtakingly scenic.

Dezaiko Lodge is situated at treeline in a picturesque alpine bowl. Excellent skiing begins right outside of the door. The lodge is entirely crafted and finished naturally with local wood species. It is warm and cozy and always a welcome sight at the end of a great day of skiing. Dezaiko Lodge is a true mountain lodge: there is no internet, cell phones don’t work, running water means running to the well, and the view from the outdoor toilet is spectacular!

" …a tremendous wealth of tree skiing there – in a week I just don’t see how anybody could get bored or restless just because the alpine is out of shape. Your motto could be: 'In good weather we are a lot of fun; in bad weather we’re even better!' "
